MISSION
I believe that when our leaders stand firm on the values of faith, family, and freedom, our communities don’t just get by—they thrive. My name is Melina Mast, and I am running to be your next Georgia State Senator for District 40.
I am a proud conservative Republican, but more importantly, I am a grandmother of nine. Education isn't just a policy point for me; it is the reason I decided to run. I believe that parents should be the only ones deciding what their children learn in school.
As your Senator, I will be a relentless voice for:
Expanding school choice to empower every family.
Protecting parental rights and ensuring total transparency in our curriculum.
Keeping politics and DEI out of the classroom so our teachers can get back to the basics of excellence.
I know what it takes to get things done because I’ve spent my life doing the work. I ran my own small business for 10 years as an interior designer and spent another 20 years in the remodeling industry. In that world, you learn quickly that a project is only as good as its foundation. I’m not afraid of hard work, and I know how to manage a budget and see a job through to completion.
I am now retired, which means I have the passion, the energy, and the time to give this district 100% of my focus. My only job will be representing you.
